I do hate some portos, some italians. (that's not because of teh FIFA World Cup). And I say "some", of course there are some good portos and good italians.

I'm not sure what you mean? Rather than read your implied definition of causal out of that statement, perhaps you'd like to tell me how you defined it?

If your point is that causal relationships can be very difficult to demonstrate on the scale and complexity of human social interaction, then yes I agree.
