I've only got one king so far this season, so I didn't get much fish as I gave half to the other guy I was with, but the first day of crabbing went well.

2 more weeks and I hope to have the freezer full of fish.

Seriously, how can you people not like seafood?
My mind is unable to wrap itself around this concept.

Not even deepfried bits of squid tentacle? Not even a tunafish steak, an ounce of oisters? How about shrimps?

Speaking of shrimp:

I was in Greece once with a hangover... in Greece any hangover automatically becomes terrible, something about the weird brightness of the light and the terrifying heat.

In any case, i was coming to my senses in some local bar that offered a magnificent view of the sea - equipped with much coffee & cigarettes and a wondeful club sandwich. It was one of those moments where you think 'Goddamn, life is pretty awesome'.

But then horror struck... my eye fell on the menu card and there it was: an advertisement for a shrimp cocktail. In itself no tragedy of course, it was the fact that they obviously misunderstood what a shrimp cocktail actually was. Their shrimp cocktail was no salad... it apparently consisted of a vodka with several large shrimp thrown in. The very thought put the Fear in me, and i spent a good few minutes fighting off a strong urge to vomit all over the place. I managed to remain civilised, but my relaxation experience was properly ruined, and i had to flee.

Salmon, whitefish, trout, tuna, shrimps, it's all good man :icon14:

I always dig the shit out of the shrimps though, some of them are pretty full of it.
