Oh. Wow.

I love the tatoo work and details on his leg armour. It's a subtle touch of detail that adds a lot of personality.

Looks nice.... but why haven't any of these player models made it out yet? I see all these people working on these awesome models but does nobody actually finish them, or *are* they finishing them and just not making them publicly available (which would seem silly)?

Making the models is easy... getting them into game with what could very well be custom animations isn't, that's the big stumbling block for most of the remakes.

Does anyone know what the tattoo on his right arm says? I can't read chinese...and it's nice to see such good work on just that, besides the rest of it.

Just to be a total language nerd, the first character is simplified and the second is traditional. I'm sure the combination would make the Chinese wince, giggle, or both. In Mandarin, the characters read "chi hàn" (pronounce the 'i' as an 'r').

Actually, it really means "silly/idiotic Han Chinese person". "Hàn" can mean man, but it's not the general term for man/human being in Chinese. At best, it says "silly man".

Madman or lunatic is 狂人 "kuángrén" or 疯子 "fengzi". (Not sure if the characters will be rendered.)
