walk forward remains stationary

something occurrred yesterday with the WALK FORWARD bind.

I can bind to any key but pressing that key only causes STATIONARY walking. No forward or any WALK motion.

the sound for walking is heard and there is movement as if I was walking in place.. if that makes any sense..

This only occurs in single and multi player mode. If I join a server it works fine..

edit:

have tried updating crom an old release to quake 3 point release 132 to no avail.

NOTE :
is there a log file or a way to print out the start up return or trouble shoot...

Backup your q3config to another location and then delete it from Q3Base. The next time you start Q3 it will recreate the config and that might resolve the issue. Keep us posted.

after i did as advised I figured it out

i have been attempting to set up GRAPPLING HOOK

we are running 1.30


tried to place /bind q "weapon10; +button5"

in consol

it was written to the file you advised to back up ..

when i remove all is fine..

any recommendations
