Im on my 3rd. And gave my son one, cause I was so impressed.
Lil reveiw time.
I like wheat beers. Especialy unfilterd ones. My favorite before this was Boulevard Wheat .
This beer, also unfilterd with its uniqe(s) taste, crisp clean finish, just makes my tounge swoon with flavors.
Yes theres a hint, just a tiny hint of orange and lemon, but not so much so that it overhauls the taste buds and pushes the honey out of the way.
What we have here, is a cleaverly disqised mask of all, in one beer.
First bottle was poured as thay recomended so that I could see its color and smell its aroma. It was graced with a small head that laced as I first tasted, then quaffed, to a refreashing end.
The second beer, was not swirled to release the yeast sediment. And it became apperant, real fast that that was a bad idea. Still, something was there.
The third, Im almost done with, no bad after tastes, even with belching. And yes, I left it in the bottle, after tiping it end over end two times.
I would love to taste this one on draft.
Why?
I can drink Boulevard Wheat, on draft here. And trust me, draft vs bottle is a no brainer.
Good beer.
Ill buy it more when its in "Season". And since its ment for as a summer ale, nows the time.
I dont expect it to age well. I expect bitterness after time.
Trios Pistoles (canadian ale) is a bit on the sweet side, but also very potent.
I also like a Samual Smiths Oatmeal Stout. Its far diffrent from any oatmeal stout I ever had. But, its also a little bit on the sweet side..
I like bitter beers, from time to time, yet none of them seem to stick to mind. Samual Smiths Porter does get fair play in my fridge, as does Rouges Oatmeal Stougt. Its a bit on the bitter side.
Im a beer drinker. I dont just drink to get bombed, I drink for the flavor, while im getting a head on.
Oh and to clarify, I rearly get bombed, but I know when Im going to.
Same here, I drink enough to sway on the line between absolute relaxation and drunkenness.
If you ever want a beer that's a little bitter but tastes great, try to get your hands on some KOFF. I don't know if they ship outside of Finland, I don't think so.
I used to not like bitter beers. But lately I'm growing fond of them. I used to drink just to get hammered. In the last decade or so I've settled down a bit and started drinking for the taste. I'll never drink shit like Bud again. Do yourself a favor and try different types of beer, ale, lager, etc.
Sam Adams Boston Lager was a bit bitter but it grows on you fast. Damn good lager. This Hefeweizen is sweet, but smooth and easy to drink.

Do you?
I don't get bombed much anymore either, but yeah, I know when I'm going to. Guess that comes with age. I think tonight will be get a good buzz going and maintain it until wee hours.
The buzz is good, I can't help but feel at peace and be completely relaxed
I too drink for taste, getting drunk off my ass is pointless. Something I'll never do at parties, a friend of mine fell asleep after getting drunk, woke up in the curb with vaseline in his ass and shaved eyebrows
