:icon23: problem with quake,can some one give a help

:icon28: look guys,i got quake 3 arena just to play bid for power mod.i installed quake 3 arena cd and when i try to play the game it shows this mesage :
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

i dont know what to do.i have a pentium 4 1.06 GHZ 256 mb ramand a matrox millenium g450 dualhead video card, i think i have the minimum requirements ti play this game. so what shoul i do can anyone help me :icon27:

Have you tried updating your video drivers? From what I can tell on the Matrox site, that card should handle it just fine.

ya man now i saw that on the cd was some glsetup that i didnt install but i tryed to install it and it says if only for win 95/98 and not for xp,and bthw i have updated the video but nothing happend

Looks like you may have to find an updated version of that glsetup for XP. Probably find it on the Matrox site.

:icon31: yaiy man, u where right, i updated the drivers of my matrox and it worked . i thought i didnt work becouse i have updated them like two months ago .anyways it works now thnx man
