Christ, you're dense. "hitler was right"? ha ha - about what exactly?

Channel4 news (which John Snow usually presents) is good for news and I watch regularly but even I can see they are pretty staunch lefties and their coverage of anything usually reflects that.

In the I/P conflict, they will almost always side with the Palestinians. They seem to see it as 'They need all the help they can get' and I suppose I agree after watching bits and pieces of US news - the bias the other way is overwhelming and it's no wonder that the shit spewed over various boards over the last month from Americans is a great mix of stupid and angry without having much in the way of facts.

Any Americans here rate ABC world news in terms of impartiality? how does it compare? its one of the few American news programs I can watch all the way through as broadcast but the 'World' component is sorely lacking usually. Apart from that, CNN trundles along and occasionally makes a good point but thats all i've seen on actual TV. The 'World Series' mentality seems to prevail, because when it comes down to it, you don't seem to give a shit either way as long as you can get to work the next day and stuff.

You can't get impartial reporting on television - including CNN.

If you want a perspective on what's really happening you have to scour international news publications for all sides of the story.

and even though i like channel4 and c4 news, they are definitely on the left of centre, they really enjoy giving it to the govt in any isse. john snow practically lights up when they do, too. just because i watch it and maybe even agree a lot of the time doesn't mean i'm not aware of its bias. try it sometime!

no i'm not an american, but whenever american news is portrayed over here in the UK, its usually 'omg lok at this pathetic attempt at news!" and then the flags and explosions and the 'fuck yeah's happen and i'm left thinking 'no, it can't be THAT bad?' i was just curious.

as for being an alt - i have no compulsion to make a dent anywhere, i'll leave that to you, oh great one.
