any must see sites in Phoenix Arizona?

Post by Tsakali_ »

I have to take my cousin there for 2 days, she came from greece and long story short she wants to go to a greek orthodox monastery they have out there, which is going to be interesting to say the least since I am not religious. Anyway, I'd like to get to sight see if possible.

Any ideas?

ps

anything other than this:

about an hour and a half north is Sedona

uh, not really too much to look at around the PHX area, but if you want to get some exercise and have a view, head up Camelback Mountain:

which is right in the middle of town practically or if you're a pussy, you can drive up to the top of South Mountain and make out with your cousin.

If you have any interest in architecture, this is fairly close to Phoenix, I enjoyed the tour:

I would suggest if you have the time go see the grand canyon near flagstaff...about 2.5 hr drive from phoenix...although it is a big ass hole, it is well worth the trip....i would also suggest going to prescott or jerome, and sedona is cool if you know where to go....little known fact about sedona...walt disney spent some time there and got some of his inspiration from the scenery, as i found out after taking a jeep tour when i was working up there in the late 90's....there are caves, sinkholes, fruitcakes walking around saying peace brother and all kinds of crap :icon26: ....or you can come out to my house and clean up my yard :icon25:

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Greek othordox priests are allowed to screw around with women... that makes them all right in my book - even though it's weird to actually see them chat one up in some obscure bar, haha.

well that's why other religions end up with a bunch of perv priests that like molesting little children, THEY ARE FUCKING HORNY AND THEY CAN'T GET ANY .

I say let them marry that way they can lead a normal life.

ps

my grandfather from my dad's side was a greek orthodox priest

don't have a clue but maybe because the land was there for the taking and with that you get alot more freedom to do what you will.

Back in those days when people where exploring their newly stolen land
