I need a ride from Heathrow airport to West Kensington (wherever that is, its a metro station), August 24th around 9am. If anyone would like to help a fellow Q3W'er, I'll give you some money for gas.

laff - you ever driven in london - car will take longer - a40 (the road going into london form heathrow) is veyr busy m8 - I'd order a cab m8 if you want to spend about 40 quid or get the picadilly line tube for about 4 quid and deal with it (its full of people with lots of luggage - obviously)

Not so hard. The Underground (Metro is the french version) is hard-wired into Heathrow, and it's at the end of the line, so you can easily get a seat near the doorways, so your luggage can be stored in that space and be in eyeshot.

If you live in London, chances are you only have a car for trips outside london itself, few are foolish enough to drive in london.
