its fun... but don't expect a racing game.
the only thing that impressed me was how good they made it look, yet it still runs max detail (no AA, 8x AF) ~50 fps on my 2.4g p4 & underclocked radeon 9800pro.

The reviews are shit. User reviews say that site reviews are underrating the game. Review that.

Ah ok.
Thought there might be some native in-game command.
Thanks.

I can only max my monitor's refresh freq to 85 hertz , so if I can get near that it's fine.

Anyway, seems to run pretty smoothly on my decrepit p4_2.8 1gb 9700pro 1024x768 max.

I'm amazed I'm still not forced to upgrade after 3 years.

So, what kind of game is it, where you drive a car around a track, with other people, trying to get across the finish line first?

FPS game?
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Actually i was using the ATI tray-tools that come with the omega drivers.
the same thing i use to underclock the vcore so i don't get sparkles and insane poly explosions. (i think the poor thing is on its last legs... one too many hot ass summers in my no-a/c apartment... thermo next to the pc says ambient of 83.5°F (28.6C))

i beat all the single player... it only takes a few hours.
and its not a racing game, its a demolition derby.
the driving is pretty terrible, and after the first lap its impossible to find a clean line through all the rubbish strewn about.
that’s why I say its not a racing game... its not about lap times. trying to get fast laps is just an exercise in frustration.
it's an arcade-smash-em-up
and that’s fun in a cheesy arcade game way. (in embracing its arcade style, it is a much better game than those god awful NFS underground games)
lets just say, its fun... but not something i'd get my steering wheel out for. (especially considering the automatic-only)

And oddly id rather play this than almost every racing sim out there. Its more fun than burnout as a whole, and beleive it or not, id rather play this than gran tourismo.

Tho, id rather play forza than all of em. but for "FUN" ill take flatout 2 every day off the week.

Speaking of sterring wheels. i should break mine out. This game would be class with a proper wheel.
