don't count out fat. he made deep runs into a couple latter-day qcons where people thought he'd get bounced early. given some hardcore lan prep he has as good a shot to finish in the money as anyone, even if he wouldn't be a favorite to make it to the final.
Oh I didn't even notice toxic on there. I thought he was moaning on and on how it was a bad choice to go back to q3 and all he would play for a while would be q4, hmmm...
Didn't realise Fojji was fox thanks Mogul, that's another one on me list. Other names (though sadly most have moved on), outside the list I posted above I remember on my travels are (all have had some effect on the way I play):-
ive always felt sorry for Pyth, dont get me wrong,i think he's a hell of a player, christ hes been number 1 in oz for 5-6 years, you can't stay on top unless you're really good, i believe if Pyth was in EU or USA he could have been number 1 in the world, he's just never had the competition/ been pushed to his limit here in oz to make him a great player, which in a way is sad, great guy, always willing to help you with tips etc, but yer tis a shame.
I hope he does really well, as he deserves it
yea, that poor bastard's never won anything outside oz (afaik). seems to also get really nervous in his big matches and ends up making clutch mistakes to let the other guy win.
Each demo pack contains several demos (some classic games here) for each player against other top players in previous matches. If your looking for pure action you might want to look elsewhere these guys are playing for money and the games are all about tactics not gunho running around.
I'd also recommend doing a search on Blue and picking up the Blue Vs Python on T4 demo as well. (Just picked up some czm and cooler demos but haven't watched them yet).
Can I also recommend picking up Seismovision v2.27 for viewing the old demos. Once installed all you need is a double click on the demo in windows explorer and your off on a Q3 journey
Wonder what maps they'll pick for the upcoming tourney. Any guesses ?
no, they've reserved spots and that's it. we won't know who actually shows up until the tourney starts. international players are frequent no-shows since they have to raise a lot of money to make it out... and q3 sponsorship isn't what it used to be.
it was a pretty good effort hey.
I watched him destroy ventz awhile ago so not supprised he made 3rd, but I reckon your right, not enough comp to push him the next level in Aust...
