Just found an old 1999 Staples catalogue check the PCs

They aren't slowing down tech to make money, they are running into the actual limits of the current technology only reason we still have 3.04 ghz PCs for 3 years, now they just added dual core, next is quad core, etc they will continue to keep building up the parts they can but the theoretical limits are getting pretty close to being the limits for PCs. Until the next big breakthrough happens, it's been in the news for years, they wanted everyone a few years back on a big bandwagon to stop judging PCs by MHz and processor power since they would start being a stagnate number for many years.

Yeah, I think I'm going to wait for quantum processors before I do my next upgrade

Im posting this on my 700mhz 256mb 20gb laptop.

I do 95% of my PC shit on it...apart from playing games and watching movies I dont find any need to use my other PC.
