I shit myself over common UK house spiders. If I saw that in my home, I would probably spontaneously combust.

This was one I saw in my kitchen a while back. It was positively tiny in comparison to the one which was in my bedroom only a few days ago. I attempted to grab it, but the bastard managed to get away, and hide behind all my electrical gear. I didn't sleep that night.

On principal, and sheer terror, I don't sleep until they're found and killed.

Lots of people say put them outside, but fuck that, they'll only come back.

Okay, now I don't feel so bad that you didn't look me up. By the way, look out your window and tell me if you can see me. :paranoid:

Dave, hows your 300mm working for candids? I miss my 70-200 right now, since I think it would be great for candids. The 85mm ("136mm" on the crop body) requires me to get too close to the subject, I don't really wanna get noticed by the person that I'm taking the picture of. I think that with the 70-200 I can take pics from much farther away, and even though I will be carrying around a big white lens.

I'm the same. I'm down with most forms of wildlife, but spiders can just fuck off.

the trick is to learn how to become invisible. I never use the 300 for shots like that unless I see something at a sporting event. I'm sure prince1k will probably tell you the same thing.
