sourceThe Crab Nebula is one of the most intricately structured and dynamic objects ever observed. The new Hubble image of the Crab was assembled from 24 individual exposures taken with the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WPFC2) and is the highest resolution image of the entire Crab Nebula ever made.

Exactly. No to great but it resembles it enough.
I always wondered how they precisely point the Hubble to a distant object. I know they use a star tracker device, used both by the shuttle and basically any other satellite, that requires precise orienteering and pointing. But these Hubble images are SO far away, combined by the orbital motion and speed of Hubble itself, it makes for some crazy timing mathematics.

Going by the brightness of the streetlights I'd say it was long exposure. They're glowing.HateFactor wrote:Photoshop-awesome or long-exposure wizardry??+JuggerNaut+ wrote:awesome, thanks!chopov wrote:
