im not being pedantic.

processing is a wet chemical process in film. it's all done in camera w/digital. post-production in print film would be spotting/toning etc. anything after the printing process. it's just terminology and more of an inflection on tb, again, not knowing what he's talking about.

Another pic from London, an entertainer at Convent Garden. 85mm f/1.8 wide open, im surprised at the sharpness but it has a lot of CA:

should I wait everytime for next years model? I'm not going to shell out lots of money for a top-entry DSLR when it's going to be my first SLR (plus I didn't have the money for it)

I still like the D50 very much and I'm going to use it at least another year.
