In Game Commands.

Post by Mondoman9630 »

What are some in game commands that can change my mouse sensitivity and maybe enhance my gameplay?

Why? You mean cause youre getting banned with your current setup?

You will find everything you need to know atUpSet Chaps Q3 guides.

There is also plenty of information in the sticky threads.

The mouse sensitivity command is simply "\sensitivity" you will either need to hire the setting if you current sensitivity is too low or lower it if it's too high. You should also take into a account if \cl_mouseaccel (mouse acceleration) is set to 1 (on) or 0 (off). Both these settings are also affected in part by your windows mouse sens and accel settings.

I can't give you specific values because everyones hardware/software/drivers are different so you will have to find a setting that suits you style of play.... and I'm afraid initially that does take some time if you are fussy like me :)

Good luck and shout if you have any more specific questions.

Regards

Fora.

yeah, another useful one is /m_yaw .0333 (.022 default)

/m_yaw affects the side to side but not up and down.
/m_pitch affects up and down.

i use:

/sensitivity 3
/cl_mouseaccel .2
/m_yaw .03333

works great for me.

I talk a bit about fine tuning sensitivity and acceleration in this post:
