yea, but I don't think the monument is the real focus in the direct sense. Its representative of the complete failures and other issues since 9/11 (he also brings up the ABC path to 9/11 fictional miniseries stuff).

i think he's trying to say it would be bush (or the government, to be non-partisan) glorifying his (its) own mistake.
i fully agree that we need a leeetle more time to think about what this all means before we start building monuments and writing hymns to 9/11.
