On a normal day I spend 45min to an hour one way, depending on traffic. On days that I visit my projects, I'll spend 3 to 4 hours on the road.

I know that feeling mate. I've got to go to a meeting in Spain next week. Flying out the day before at 17:00, the meeting starts at 09:00 the next day and finishes at 17:00. The fucking flight is booked for home at 21:00 and lands at 00:00 and then I’ve got a one hour drive home..... LOL

seriously though...i gotta travel from the master bedroom to the kitchen to the living room...once a week i gotta go up to my daughters school...but the school is only 1.2 miles away...thats it...lol?...

its great...why would i be suicidal? after my wife gets home...if she doesn't want to fuck i play games or go over to my smoking buddys place or what not...what else is there?...lol...u sound like an old man who doesn't know what to do with himself...get a life looser...

aye. as much as i hate aspects of working - like having to spend a lot of time driving and occasionally working with msi/installshield (the most shambolic, overwrought shitfest bit of software on earth) - i couldn't sit around all day. ffs, you might end up like geoff if you did that. /shivers

That's not too bad for yearly mileage. Back when I had a commute of 2 to 2.5 hrs round-trip, I was putting about 35K on my Audi. It sucked.
