It was those little green pickles you get on indian takeout but properly pickled and concentrated... and it was fiery death, They left the stalks in the mix cause frankly you couldn't feel what you were chewing on anyway. And I can't remember what it was called

I my girlfriend won't eat it, so I only get to eat it when she's away. But it's awesome with lingonberry jam and raw cabbage.

I was in Bratislava last year and we ordered some tapas. I was completely unable to read the spanish or slovak menu and so was my comrade... so we randomly picked things. When they brought out the goodies, it appeared we had ordered - amongst other things - a large platter of duck liver.
Duck livers are rather small, and there were about 15 on a platter. They were marinated in a superb sweet sauce and came accompanied by bits of tasty onion. It was the only liver i've ever enjoyed. Enjoyed so incredibly much in fact, that we immediately ordered another platter.
In hindsight i reckon an entire duck colony was eliminated to soothe our cravings.
