Whats there not to get? An STi fucking owns for the money. A person who is interested in driving and can afford one should fucking buy one, unless hes an old fart who likes driving a slushbox. Hmm... lets see, whats better, an entry-level luxury sedan or a fast 4 door sports car with great potential?

Women can't drive anyway and I'm assuming Gramps would probably prefer the lesser insurance costs associated with not owning an STi.

An STi beats a 325i in everything except for looks (for some, I'm not gonna argue that the 06+ aren't pretty, but the new E90's aren't very pretty either, especially from behind) and class. Yeah, its not as classy of a car, however a 325i isn't much classier, except for having a BMW badge instead of a Subaru badge. Its still a "baby" BMW... unless you're going for a 335i, thats another story :o

My local Mercedes dealer has a Black 2006 C230 with ash leather interior, automatic transmission, sun roof, memory seats, upgraded stereo and 6 disk changer discounted to $30,137.00. I'm going to go take a look at it Saturday. :icon31:

You dumb fuck. The STi is a fucking fantastic sporty fun to drive car. Gobs of power, and yes lots of potential for more, but the fucking thing is an econobox on the interior. Your Sentra has more options available. For a little street racing rat like you the STi is perfect, but for the majority of us who like a bit of luxury and refinement in our daily drivers it's a horrible piece of shit. Get out of the basement you pasty ass white trash immigrant worthless future welfare collecting cockfag.

wtf? No.
Let's start at the top...
Interior: STi have hideous interiors. If this is for a woman who will be driving to and from work everyday, interior quality is important.

Ride comfort. No brainer.

Engine quality. I'll grant that Subarus are tough, but why even bother with a car that has as much power cranked out as possible if none of that power is needed. The engines in all of those cars will last longer than in the STi.

Looks/class: No one older than 20 should drive an STi, unless they enjoy that pointing and laughing thing everyone else will do. I know this is a matter of taste, but lets be serious... What kind of middle-aged woman want's to own an STi, really?

Price: An STi will be more expensive than all of those.

And so on...

Didn't know it was for a woman... forget it then. Btw, a slightly used STi costs as much as one of those cars. If he wants class, than a used 540i would be a really sick buy.

Yeah, he said it's for his wife.

Don't get me wrong, STi's are impressive cars, but really are only for a niche market. There's no reason to consider one if you're looking for a luxury family sedan.

And I realize that a used one would be priced about the same, but you'd still be ending up with a used car. You might as well just by a used BMW/Merc/Audi for even less than that.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

I don't know about the caddy but the bmw and the benz are pieces of shit . this comes from a previously avid fan of the bmw's as well.
I can't say shit for the audi as I never had any xperiance with them.

seriously all these cars are overhyped shitbags on fancy boots. the bmw and the benz brake down religiously and they cost a pretty penny. Unless you're a moron and image is realy worth spending 100 bucks every time you get an oil change.

get you a lexus if you must go luxurius atleast it's worth a shit.

A woman most likely doesn't want an STi, considering that she likes an automatic Cadillac.

While we have this thread going...

Whats everyone's opinion of the best used car (prefer something around 2005) under $30,000? I'm looking for either sleek luxury or boy-racer with a little class. Right now I'm in love with the RX-8 but they just have so many problems I'm afraid to own one.

I see the 05 Sti is just under my budget but for some reason they've never caught my eye. Maybe I'd feel different after a test drive.
