public wireless ?

If I have file sharing disabled and connect to a wireless access point is it still possible for someone to access my computer and files?

or what else do I need to do to prevent this?

kerio personal is good stuff for windows. p.s. super slim chance anybody wants to get into your pc. it's nothing special.

Except for any n00b who thinks he's l33t by getting access to someone else's system. But, as you said, Kerio will do the trick nicely.
