Printer Bending Pages
I have an HP LaserJet 1220, it is a 1200 with the extra scan/copy attachment. I have been pretty happy with this printer except for two things. First it sometimes prints off level, that is to say that a straight line on a printed page is not parallel to the paper, which is annoying, but not that annoying. The second, and increasingly annoying quirk, is that it bends the pages. I was using HP Bright White Inkjet paper, which is 97 brightness and 24 lb paper. I am now using Staples copy paper which is 96 brightness and 20 lb. The page bending seems to have gotten worse, so much so that printing more then one page requires me removing the pages from the tray so it wont knock the paper off. Is there any way to get it to print without bending the pages?

The slant is usually down to worn rollers not picking the paper up properly on one side, thus skewing the paper.
If the paper gets caught for any length of time in the rollers and you can find scuff marks on the paper on either side, then that's probably also the cause of the paper bending, too.

Well I got a blank page that "printed", dunno why, but it was perfectly flat and everything. So I think the bending is coming from the printing process. The pages are bending length wise, that is to say that when the paper comes out the sides of the paper, as you look at it, are bend upward. I guess it is actually backward, since it comes out of the printer upside down.
