Reminds me of playing Res Evil and Final Fantasy all those years back :D

Have you seen the PS3 one? its shit, because its nothing. It just goes to the crossbar menu, then when you load the game, "PLAYSTATION 3" pops up quickly, disapears, and 90-100 hours later, the game loads...

Heres a video of it. You think "Man that owns" until you notice the first bit is the PSM3 logo, NOT the PS3 logo, lol :p

(EDIT: DAMN VIDEO GONE)

Yeah man. I only had a Genesis as a kid so "SEGA!" was where it was at. I can still hear Sonic the Hedgehog music sitting here....fuck now I want to play.

Isn't that the sound of a sword being drawn in the PS1 start-up? I always thought it was.

Still love booting that damn thing up.
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Fuck you guys.
Nothing, absolutely nothing beats the Gameboy bootup. It's marvels in simplicity.

its only classic because it is a) old and b) because of hardware limitations.
its not a brilliantly thought out branding campaign :)

shame the ps2 was so dreary after the ps1.

the ps1 was every child and recreational drug user's must-have device, excellent bit of post-pub entertainment - beating the shit out of your mates at tekken or noodling away at some exploring/puzzle game whilst stoned out of your minds. that startup sound meant you weren't going to be doing anything else for at least an hour or two. the ps2 was just 'meh' in comparison.

I quite liked the PS2's, that sound with the pulse going to the logo, quite nice, simple.

The 360's one is great too, its very nice and simple, giving you the same look everything has.

The xbo has the award for the most "over the top" one though, bloody hell lol!
