photoshop gurus: merging two vector layers to 1 vect. layer?

anyone know how I can take something I made with vectors in multiple layers , and dump them into one vector layer?
select the path with the Path selection tool, go to the "Paths" tab, the current path is displayed as "Working path". Copy and paste it into a new path layer, do the same with the other path, and paste it into the same path layer. Don't forget to set it to Add, Subtract, Intersect or Exclude before pasting the second path, depending on what relationship between them you want.
Make the vector layers you wish to merge visible then CTRL-SHIFT-E
BTW as has been said, vectors really, really belong in illustrator. It's vastly more powerful than photoshop when it comes to them.

I never really messed with illustrator, thanx for advice (specially Grudge)it's all fixed now. I need to give it to someone who is going to use it in flash and he wants it in a more manageable form
anyway :icon14:
ps
I have stayed in the dark when it to comes to vector graphics in most part. But I think I need to bite the bullet and learn illustrator

as Grudge said really but a bit simpler:
highlight the shape you want to copy with the black arrow path selection tool and just ctrl+c it (ctrl+x will give you an option to delete the layer as well), then go to the other layer, highlight any vector shape in it and ctrl+v. That way you don't have to arse about with the paths palette.
