God Damn!
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

"If you're a gamer, this is definitely the one for you, don't go dual core."
why is it better than dual core?

Games are still mainly single threaded programs so they aren't able to take advantage of dual cores.
However, if you want to compute pi while playing your favorite game... dual cores come in very handy.

Or if you want to run virus software while playing a game, or listen to mp3's, or leave other applications open...

It's not. They're trying to making out the value for money is better than dual cores (specifically aimed at Intel's Conroes I should imagine, if this is an offer actually coming from AMD), but they worded it all wrong anyway, even without saying "fuck Intel, their Conroes might beat our top dual cores, but we're going to make sure the cheaper market goes for us instead of them".

I seriously need to upgrade to a socket 939. Methinks a new MB and CPU is in order.
