The walkers and dropships are fun for 10 minutes, but I played mods that looked just like 2142, back in the BF1942 days...

I'll stick to BF2 until QuakeWars.

Having to unlock weapons and abilities is really poor. It's not as bad in bf2 cuz you can actually use your class to the fullest. In this you can't even throw grenades, or use the standard revive ability as medic. I guess playing your first bunch of games getting cornholed as a gimped asshole is some kind of retarded way of making the game seem deeper.

That's all bad enough, but when everybody is forced to their bare bones basic abilities like in the demo, it makes for some really poor gameplay. Like its half a game or something.

It plays like BF2, looks like a BF2 mod, and sounds like a mod made by a team of 2 people...

In other words, you an see why this game started production AFTER Quake Wars and came out roughly 6 months BEFORE Quake Wars...

i.e. I'll wait for my next GPU, and wont be getting it for this.

No windowed mode is fucking stupid. Especially since the game takes eons to load and fucks about for 10 mins every time I change graphics settings.

I played the beta a few weeks back and actually enjoyed it... I didn't have a lot of issues with crashing. Still debating if im going to purcahse it or not.

Not a single crash so far here.. Then again id guess im running newer hardware with properly updated DX.

Disagree there.. EA can simply fuck themselves.

Screens shorter and wider.. I miss out on alot of planes going overhead but can see slightly further width wise..

Whatever, Im not buying it anyways.
