NIN

Post by CitizenKane »

is it just me, or does a lot of the music in Q3A sound a lot like Nine Inch Nails? This is especially true for Q3DM3 (Arena of Death). anyone agree?

no, but the music in Q1 does.
you'd almost think NIN had been involved or something.

well yeah i know NIN were involved in Quake 1, hence NIN being written on the side of the boxes of Nailgun ammo...i thought everyone knew that already so i didnt bother to mention it. i was just observing that some of the music in Q3 sounds like NIN too. Broken EP-era NIN anyway, not his late 80's industrio-funk cheesiness ala Pretty Hate Machine. :icon25:

not really, too much synthesizer.
no way in hell that hardcore dude like trent rezsnore would do anything with a synthesizer.

what?? most of his stuff uses synths! pretty much every single one of his songs consist of a drum beat (programmed or real), some heavily distorted guitar and the rest is made up of synths! there wasnt even any actual bass guitar played on his first two albums, all the basslines were done on keyboards.

so....there ya go :p :icon26:
