Delete your q3key file in C:\program files\quake III arena\baseq3 and then re-enter your key when the game prompts you to. Then use the All Seeing Eye or Gamespy to find servers and play.

how to find the q3key run it or search it i did both and it says inviald when i enter the the c:\program files\quake III arena\baseq3 so what do i do help me please!!!!!!!! i really want to play.

Just run a search for it.

The file is called q3key. It has no extension. If you don't have one then either you didn't enter it or you downloaded the game in which case this thread should be locked, yes?

OK, just to cover the tiny possibility of absolute stupidity... After you installed ASE, you are now using ASE and not the in-game browser to find games? And ASE itself is telling you 'No response from master server'?

You're not providing much help other than whining. If you answer the questions people are asking then maybe someone would be able to help. If, however, that doesn't happen in the next couple posts this thread will be locked.

Since no one has asked I might as well. Are you running a legally purchased version of the game?

Then the error you ran into is from using a warezed copy of the game. The solution is to spend $10 and buy a copy of Q3.
