standalone quake 3 install??

hi,

i was wondering if there is some sort of server package for q3a that just consists of the server (no pak0.pk3, etc.) and allows users to "bring their own" game files? i am running a server on which placing the physical pak0.pk3 file is impractical (upload limits, not bandwidth or space or anything).

you have to understand that you need to provide thos files as a server becuase your server uses them as a mirrow between users... otherwise you would have to have a (filesharing) concept or what not...
