AIW Radeon 9800 issue

My computer monitor does not turn on untill the "welcome" screen during windows startup.

So, to do bios adjustments I need to hook up my tv as a clone to see whats going on. Is this a driver issue or did I switch something to make this happen?

set it in bios to boot to vga

Opps I forgot to say its a A7n8x with a Radeon 9800.

and I didn't see an option to boot to VGA?

There will be an option in the bios that says primary Display adapter.

make sure its on AGP.

Also, are you 100% sure that its not the monitor?
