I usually let it go all the way to level 4.
Then instead of cleaning it, I just set fire to the house and move to a new one.
This is a financially viable solution to slobbiness.

What do you think on the X-Trac Pads? I'm thinkin of the 11 x 17 hammer.

i love em.. the "hard" ones are a bit thin, but they dont move at all.. and they arnt so hard that they chew up your mouse feet..
all in all, ill prolly never but another brand..

I'm used to it My current mousing surface is Hard as well, I'm using an X-acto Self healing mat, but I need another and I was curious about the X-trac.

pick up an xtrac, there cheap enough that if you dont like em, you can toss it..
