Problem installing Quake 3 Arena

Every time I try and install the game, I recieve the following error message;

Anyone got idea why this is happening?

im not sure about that error. But I believe you can do a manual install of quake3 by copying the pak0.pk3 from the cd into you quake3 directory, then install the latest point release.
