I had a black student make a joke about my white skin color the other day. Had the situation been reversed, the shit would have really hit the fan at that school.

Maybe he meant you need to get a tan. On another note, black skin always throws off the auto white balance on my camera. It always makes the photo come out warmer than it should.

everyone in this thread seems focused on the use of the word nigger and ignoring the comment about lynching. i agree reverse racism is bad.

oh and we already have white entertainment televison. it's called all the major t.v. networks. we could call it what it is but then we'd be exposing ourselves a bit wouldn't we?

having a network which caters to a certain culture, i.e. black, white, hispanic, chinese, italian (all of which exist where I live) can hardly be called racist from my perspective.

Bullshit. There are many ethnicities and cultures represented on standard TV channels but creating an entire channel based on the colour of people's skin (eg. BET) is racist, period.

But Puff, the thing is there is no channel or network dedicated to solely caucasians. Look at all the commercials, tv shows, and movies on any of them. You see black, hispanic, white, asian, etc. BET on the other hand is dedicated to just one group of people. No whites/asians past this point. Blacks only. Isn't that racist even in the slightest way?
