It doesn't excuse richards, but i think we need to work towards consistency in how we look at racial attitudes on ALL sides and in ALL cultures - not just white vs. black.
if a black comic implied support for killing whites (a la lynchings) I think it would make the news big time, no?
I'm trying to remember exactly what the skit was -- I think it was Eddie Murphy on SNL. Anyway, he sang a song -- "Gonna grab me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see..." I'll have to try to find it, but I'm pretty sure it was SNL.
