3 Questions

Hi there, I have two questions I'd like to ask:

1. Where can I get a rail gun only mod? I've found one as a quake 'rail arena' but it seems to actually be for Unreal tournament (?).

2. Does anyone know where I can get hold of the soundtrack for Quake 3 arena Dreamcast version? My first version of Q3 was on the dreamcast and the music was fantastic. But I just can't find it for download anywhere.

3. Also, when I try to play online, sometimes the rooms come up, but sometimes it tells me that there are no master servers active. This is strange. Sometimes I'll leave a room/ game, try and go find another room/ game to play only to be told there are no master servers active. Does anyone know why this is?

As I've never owned a Dreamcast I can't say if the soundtrack is the same as the pc version but I'm guessing it might be. The soundtrack was done by a group called Sonic Mayhem and they later released an album containing tracks from the game and some that were inspired by the game called Quake 3 Noise. You can buy it from here - (Link Sourced From SonicMayhem.Com)

Also, they have been kind enough to release 2 or 3 quake series tracks in mp3 format and a whole load more for free to the public from the music page on their website (link here).

Yeah, I read the sticky topics. Still can't find rail arena on that page. What is the link? What is rail arena mod called?

Although thanks for the information about the master servers.

With the Dreamcast Q3, there were additional extra tracks (some for the dreamcast made levels) which were alot better than the minimalist music you get on the PC version. I'm tempted to get the Q3 CD, but I'm afraid of buying it only to find the one track I'm looking for is not on there.

Maybe I'll email them.
