farcry 1.4 problem

farcry 1.4 problem

just reinstalled farcry, patched it up with the 1.4 cumulative patch and when i start a game youre in the cave i cant look around, mouse wont work, but in the menu everythings just dandy..

mouseware 9.80

everythings up to date, and the game worked just fine back when i used to have 1.33 patch

ok, i found the solution

in the control options click on default settings..

but all i changed was the assign a new key for the flash light and the use key lol

I'm thinking about installing it again also.
Never completed the game yet.

It's a great game, and the MP has so much potential. It's strange that the custom content scene never really took off for it, after all the hype surrounding the editor and cryengine features.

I've been dabbling with the editor. Pretty fun. Nothing much to look at yet, still getting used to the functions after working with Radiant for so long.

AEon did some dabbling in the CryEd (or whatever it's called).

BTW, any particular reason you are using mouseware? In my experience, I've found the default windows driver does a better job. The Logitech mouse drivers tend to cause a few odd issues in some applications.

i've never had mouseware problems past MX510+

after hitting google it turns out to be a patch problem...

You need mouseware to get the higher optical DPI/Rates on newer logi mice.

Plus most of later logi drivers are sound. I have held the same opinion as you for previous logitech mice tho, including the dual optical and mx500
