hell yes - the ufc crowd sucks, the production quality of pride is incredible.

Pride also attracts more international fighters.

Go hunting for some pride dvds to get an idea of what it's all about - there's a good dvd store in town called "currentz" or something...

Ever since I saw Crocop vs. Emelienko I'll never watch UFC again.

Fedor is probably my favorite fighter to watch, ever. He just exudes focus and determination, with no bs. Crocop does too, of course (which is another reason their fight was so good) - but there's something of the animal in Fedor.
I get the impression that if there were no money or fame involved anywhere, he would still be doing exactly what he is doing.

The only animal in Fedor is a huge teddy bear. And most of these people, except for Quinton Jackson, are doing it for the fun of it, not for money or fame. Trust me, if you're just looking for money and fame, there's many easier ways to get it. You won't get paid jack until you reach the top .5%.

Thanks, that was nice.

Bas and the other guy were making all kinds of excuses for the Texan. He was obviously the favorite for that fight, but Fedor just dominated him over and over again.

I don't think he ever got close to 100% again after he took that right hook early in the match on the ground from Fedor.

I can't get enough of seeing this guy fight.

I was waiting for the Russian (I assume he's Russian from his last name?) guy to knock the black dude over and beat the living shit out of him but it never happened... was interesting to watch anyway.
