Goof is getting mixed up. DirectX 9.L will be the upgraded 9.0c for Vista. We'll still need that piece of shit O/S to get DirectX 10.

FYI this was incorrect.

DX9.L is for 9 on Vista, not 10 on XP

Not one bit, I recently discovered Linux (Ubuntu) and all the joys of Linux. For example did you know this page renders instantly when you go to it in Linux?

And Ubuntu 6.10 looks ages better than Vista. Let's not even talk performance wise.
