Spinning quake and not moving

Lately, when I jump on a server (ASE) everything is spinning around like grazy while I'm standing still.
Kind off like fast forward in circles.
With a mouse-click the spinning stops but then I can't move left and right.
Have to reconnect and then it's fine again.
It's mouserelated I quess?
I just got a new pc, but same mouse (mx518)
Anyone knows the cause and/or fix? Thanks =)

do you have latest setpoint installed? i had the same issue a while ago with on older version of logitechs drivers. version 3 and up have been fine.

I had the latest setpoint, but installed an older version again. (2.30)
I'm having mouseproblems in general and was willing to try
anything at one point. I quess I have to install the latest drivers again if I want to get rid of this

probably a problem with your mouse, stuff like this is rarely server related

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your mouse, i've experienced similar things throughout my travels in quake. You could also try in_restart and see if it helps once in game, most likely a driver issue though.

i think its a browser bug,i use multi browser,have for years and after an update awhile back this started happening to me.
after the next patch it went away.
i've also seen this in gamespy.
