How do you turn off your keyboard -> system speaker beep?

It's fucking annoying, when something is on the keyboard when I go to sleep and all night I hear a beep beep beep from the fucking PC speaker.

I want to keep the PC speaker connected so you know, in case the computer starts to blow up I'll know ahead of time.

Where do you turn this fucking bullshit off at?

i'm going to throw another "don't leave shit on your keyboard" option.

i mean, seriously, does stuff spontaneously grow legs and sit on your keyboard?
if your cat/pet/girlfriend/whatever is a problem with it, lean the keyboard against the side the monitor vertically while you're not using it.
