yeah, wii's ok.
Zelda was pretty good. I liked how accurate the bow was using the wiimote to aim. It was a pretty long game compared to other Zeldas.

The component cables wont be night and day, but its a lot less muddy.

And dzjepp, graphics DONT make the game. I loaded Zelda and yeah, the first thing I did? You guessed it. I sat there looking at the grass, thinking "What in the living fuck is that supposed to be?" 64x64 res textures stretched over 500 feet of screen = MESS. However, after I got over my cunt faced big headed "smug mode", and started to actually PLAY the game... I found it to be one of the best god damn pieces of art ever. Its not that the games higher detail as you get in. Its not. Its the shear scope and wholeness of the world they created. Your sucked in, you BELIEVE your there. And it only gets better with the controls, because you really DO feel like your having fun. Its not push A, its swing your god damn sword, mother fucka!

I smiled a LOT playing it, and fuck i'm only 13 hours in at the third dungeon. I smiled when I got over the (awful) start, when I got links classic garb. I smiled when I beat my first temple. I smiled with all the jokes they give you. And I smiled when I used the bow for the first time. Pwnage was the word that came to mind. Theres nothing quite like pointing at the screen and withen 2 seconds taking out 5 goblins with an arrow 200 feet away. You just cant do that with a pad.

So while the graphics are shit, the game is not. In Zeldas case at least. You need to remembre Zelda is a Cube game. The real Wii made Zelda is being made now and I hope it looks a lot better (With voice acting from all except Link, PLEASE).

I got "a chance" to play it the other day................ Oh man..... What the fuck were Ubi thinking? You cant see 3 feet in front of you without SOMETHING popping up, the AI is about as dumb as, well, the bad guys in Donkey Kong Country, the graphics are a complete MESS of nothing meaning you cant actually see what your doing anyway... Oh yeah, and if thats not bad, it chugs like somebody trying to run Doom 3 on a PS2... RANDOMLY. Can you see out for 13 miles over this hill? Yeah? Nice... Can you shoot that guy in the cabin over there? NO, because the fuckin frame rate is shitting itself for no reason...

FarCry was on of those "Must try" games. Now its must avoid.

Having said that, Rayman fucking rocks. So much fun. So at least SOMEBODY at Ubi got it right.

the pic with the av cables sucks pretty much, i don't get it why they are still adding such ancient stuff into the box.. i mean even the master system came with ac cables?! ... since no other cable is avaiable in germany (barely any store got accessoirs except wiimote+wiiplay) need to play with that blurry image..

does someone know if the gamecube cables are prolly compatible? does the wii has the some output connectors?

except thatmalus i like it.. in wii sports and wii play you don't really notice the blurryness so much except on corners of fonts etc. but in zelda where they actualy use textures the blurryness is noticeable.

well the new year will change that when more accessoire will hit europe.

would be nice. at the moment he looks a bit gayish, thnx you see him most of the time from behind.. but his look doesnt change the fact that twighlight princess is awsome..

Loks good with the cables i must say...

I am starting to enjoy this more now i have a few controllers and have been playing Tennis etc

Tomorrow i will spend a few hours on Zelda to see what O'dium is wanking over at the moment.

BTW - Bowling FTW. Can you play it online?

For somebody thats promoting the damn cables because it improves the picture a lot, i.e., me, I thin kthat comments a tad on the dumb side mate.

Its a shame the Wii isn't in HD. But I couldn't give a fuck now, I'm enjoying Zelda.
