Holiday plans

Post by tnf »

Who gets the joy of being the host this year?

My sister in law and her husband and 8 month old are rolling in tomorrow and will be here for the next 6 days. I don't mind company for a day or two, but this is going to wear on me by the end of it all.
But I'll take this over an 11 hour drive to their house. Plus I don't have to worry about awkward shitting moments again this holiday season because of the horribly placed toilet at their house.

Anyone have to fly very far for the holidays?

I WISH I had a long way to fly. Instead, it's a long way to drive for me...
Going to New York to stay with the gf's aunt.

Aside from the drive, it should be pretty cool.
Other than that, I'll be at my parent's from Fri-Mon. I was hoping to spend a bit of xmas with my niece, but it doesn't look like that'll happen.

Break from training for seven days, going down to my girlfriend's beach house with a few friends. Three hour drive out of Melbourne, staying for 3 days, then back to work.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully its nice and filthy hot so I can walk around naked.

Not going anywhere, besides the beach.

My gf flies out on the 29th to see her family and my brother is coming into town that same day. It'll be a few days of drinking and then we're getting inked together on the 2nd (he's getting his first tat). Should be a blast.

Why bother posting that Ryoki, my country has more beaches than any other country in the world. Going to the beach is just another normal day for an Australian.

We'll be spending Christmas at my parent's place this year. It's a 4 hour train ride away, which is ok.

Had a three hour train trip back home to Cambridge so mainly just relaxing with the family and seeing some old friends i've not seen for ages. Pretty much the same for new years. Good thing I kept 7 days of holiday from work to spend over christmas/new year.
