It was a toss-up between this and Spaaten Optimator. The 9% alcohol carried the day.
While that is a good one, The same brewery makes a Trios Pistoles. I'm sure you would like it better.
Real Ales, for REAL Men.
You can read about it at the same site as your label.

I want to add, for you unintitiated, that the yeast in the bottom is ment to be used. Its part of the flavor factor.
You pour the bottle till 1/3 is less, swile it and pour the rest.
Unfilterd beers/Ales taste best Because its as close to the keg you can get without buying a keg.
And how may of you have a Keg fridge?
Another beer I absolutely love for a Lager is Boulevard Wheat Unfiltered.
And yes I tried the Dunkel. It was over roasted malts that I didn't like, but was drinkable.

So yeah, pretty much like the Hefeweizen. Pour, swirl, mix, drink.ForM wrote:I want to add, for you unintitiated, that the yeast in the bottom is ment to be used. Its part of the flavor factor.

Anything beats a Coors, Bud or Miller.
unless thats all you can afford.
But theres well over 1600 micro's out there now in America alone. Some available and some only limited to small areas.
My plan, is to drink at least one, from all of them. And in the meantime, others pop up.
Sure some flat out suck. Like something called Goose or something like that, but it still beat drinking another bud.

Are you saying that you can buy it at your corner store? From your profile you are in te US? This is a micro brewery that one of our most prolific poet singer create at the time. It was sold a few years ago but I didn’t know it was already in the US.
The logo on it is the map of my province Quebec.
Robert Charlebois is the artist and the micro brewery instigator.
Hope you like it. A bit strong but drink it more as a cocktail then as a beer. Enjoy!
