''Server uses protocol version XX ''

Ok. As you can see im new here on the forums so dont flame pls.

I read the frequently asked questions topic and installed the pointrelease 1.32 and 1.32c. It still says ''server is using protocol version Xx'' Any ideas? Thank you!!

the server is using a different version of quake3 then what you are using

oh and i forgot to say that i have Quake 3 Team arena. Could this be the problem?

if youre trying to connect to a regular q3 server using team arena.. that wont work.
it should automatically disable TA though

did you install TA aftre installing the 1.32 patch? if so, theres the problem. update again. and dont use TA to connect to vQ3 servers
