No one wouldn't uninstall most scrolling shoot-em-ups after playing only one game on them.
[xeno]Julios wrote:By parallax effect I mean the way that the background is divided into multiple layers, which scroll by at different rates, depending on how far away they're depicted, and how as you move the fighter up and down, the layers adjust their relative positions.

Try to finish the whole game in hard mode. Each level has 5 areas, and there are 4 levels.

It took me forever to beat the 3rd level...

and the third area of the fourth level will blow your mind with the weapon you get :)
The background just looked 3D to me. I suppose that's quite an achievement if it's done all with parallax; but it didn't look good enough for me to want to play the game.

Like I said, I uninstalled the game after playing one game on it, so I'm not going to try to complete it.

ah i thought u meant after u finish it u throw it away.

as for the graphics, remember EVERYTHING is done with hand modeled clay - there are no rendered objects or effects.

And give the game a shot - it is a true challenge to play through it in hard mode, and it's quite intelligently designed.

I was playing it on hard and it wasn't interesting. It was just the same thing over and over again.

not really.. (and i'm a big shooter fan)
It's your basic side-scroller.
Hell, it only has one good weapon. with no upgrades. (speaking of weapons, i hate weapon timers)
It's as difficult as any side scroller, they're generally a PTA and not even 10% as fun as the top-down view.
played it for ~30min (got to the 3rd lvl) and then deleted it.
oh, i also hate clay-mation, so the graphics were nothing special to me.

dr watson u mean third area of first level, or third level? (i.e. u went through 10 areas)

Wait till u get the lightning in fourth level - great when combined with the double mounted cannon thingie.
