port forward help

Ok so, I don't get it. I did all of the things pictured but I still don't get my port forwarded, What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

This seems all wrong.

You have two entries for port 12583, and one of them sends it to 101 while the other sends it to 100. You can't forward the same port to 2 machines.

Change the last entry in that list to 'UDP' and set the IP address to 100.

Also make sure you haven't got any software firewalls making life difficult on the PC you're running uTorrent on. Of course you already knew that.

Thanks for straightening that out!

Another problem stems from running the computer on limited account.

which screws everyting up.

quite the contrary. doing this with a standard user prevents things from screwing up.

Thats what I was hoping but when I run UT on the limited account I get red x's and "access denied" status. When I run the port test I get an error also?!? (thats what prompted me to screw up my ports in the fist place :icon26: )

if you want to run utorrent on two machines just run a different port on each.

or you could try sending the port to 192.168.1.0 that may broadcast it to all machines in that range. maybe.
