its one of the best shooters ever. if you have access to a dreamcast through a friend (or you can buy an old one for like 15 bucks), i dont mind snail mailing you the game. its really quite excellent.

Blazing lazers on the pc engine (turbo grafix16) and raiden + raidenII on the same system are the kings of shooter games.

(magic engine is the best emulator ever for pce)

tx for the offer - i don't have a tv though. Pity that the pc version seems to suck so much

it was the first 16-bit console.
called "turbo grafix16" in the us, pc-engine in japan

emulators would run smooth on a pentium 133, so you should be ok. ;)
"magic engine" is the best one out there.

oh, it was "the system" for shooters, the way the psx was the RPG system.

Id almost say "the best".
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

ikagura does rock. i think they made a version for the game-cube that was quite awesome.
as far as modern ones goes.. Einhander for the psx was pretty amazingly well-made... and one of the hardest side-scrollers since R-Type.

yeah, here's the cube version: http://media.cube.ign.com/media/489/489323/imgs_1.html
fucking outstanding.
