Multi color font

When im playing online Ii always see the names of some players with multi color font. How do I get that font.

oh and one more thing those funky looking shapes that they use before and after there name do you know how to do those as well?

erm, how you mean? i think i recall during my Dreamcast days people using odd shapes, but i don't think the later Q3 patches allow it. i could be completely off my rocker though. maybe someone else could pipe in about it.

Are you talking about different characters in a players name on that specific server?
Or the server name?

I did have a quick look for quake 3 name changing on google.

If you click the link and look then click the image. Are any of those
"funky looking shapes" in that image?

NOTE: I have not used that program before. So I have no clue on it.
