PC problem

When I press the power button: cpu fan starts, hds start, lights turn on...but after 1 sec or minus everything stops! Lights are still on and I have to press the power button 4 secs to turn them off!
I have to try 10> times to make the pc running...

Amd 2600+ with a 9800 pro and gigabyte motherboard GA-7n400-l1

I would open up the case and make sure none of the fans are clogged, especially the CPU fan. Make sure the power cable to the graphics card is secured. Reseat your RAM. Try those things, see if that helps any.

You need another power supply.

Do what KOS said.

Clean out the PC, re-seat all of the cards and ram. Check all of your cable connections too. If that doesn't work, like Duhard said, you may need a new PSU.
