regardless , all maps can be played with bots once you create an .aas file

bsp2ass .. you have to use the .bsp file not the .map file

you may have to open the pk3 "with winzip" extract the bsp then try q3toolkit using that .bsp

if it works place the .aas file in a new folder under baseq3 called maps. gtk may have already created that folder "baseq3/maps"

if you don't plan on using that map online you could place the .aas file in your pk3 in the same place as the .bsp

foo or someone else can probably add or correct what i've said,my memory is fading on quake3.

ax is correct. One small addition: you'll need to set /sv_pure 0 in the console for the map to load.

argh, q3toolkit is repeatedly giving the file not found error from the commandline , even though i have unzipped q3amphi and placed its bsp in baseq3->maps, i gave this command q3map2.exe -bsp2aas "path of the bsp", and it shows the error even though the file is there , the q3map2.exe lies in q3 folder, dunno what im doing wrong , ok im posting the .bsp file , plz if some one culd do it and post the .aas file , it wuld be highly appreciated ,thnx

.aas file for q3amphi

http://www.savefile.com/files/456968

ugly stupid map though

if our instructions fail just place the .aas file in the pk3

i placed bspc.exe in my c:\temp directory as well as q3amphi.bsp
then opened a command prompt in my temp folder

BSPC -bsp2aas q3amphi.bsp -forcesidesvisible -optimize
